Great day today in Helsinki! Tammitörmän Lady Fox Killer was chosen as Best of Breed and she had Winner-09 title. (pict) Our young bitch Ritu was second best junior and Junior Winner bitch was Tammitörmän Riina. All Tammitörmän dogs had excellent and we were chosen as best breeder and had price of honor. (pict.) I was hunting today with Erkin Väin Smirren and we had 7 raccoon dogs from 3 different caves. Smirre has developed a lot after she came to us and became quite nice hunting friend.

We suffered great loss today as our Finnish hound Verokkaan Roosa was found dead this morning. We will remember her as friendly and calm dog that left us too young.

In Tallinn Baltic Winner 2009 dog show Lady won Baltic Winner 2009 tittle and she has now all needed cacibs for international champion tittle. Meanwhile in Finland, Heinola, Ritu had her first sert!

Tammitörmän Lady Fox Killer had good day today in Tallinn Balter Winner terrier speciality show. She was best of breed and became Estonian show champion.

In Kouvola Maija Mäkinen selected Tammitörmän Rex as breeds best and Rex got his first cert. Congratulations! The second best male was our Pahis Cossu Vissy.

Bad accident happened to Ritu Rubiini on Wednesday. She was attacked by snake on our own yard. Luckily I (Katja) saw what happened and we could get Ritu to vet right a way. Despite of strong pain medication, she was quite sick couple of days. Now she looks better but she will still have to rest couple of days.

In main dog show for german hunting terriers in Jämsä, judge Heinz Shober selected our kennel Tammitörmän as a breeders class best kennel. Tammitörmän Nachon was selected as best in show among 82 dogs. Tammitörmän Quick Silverin got Tepon Tuopi -price as he was best junior male.

There were 9 Tammitörmän dogs in Jämsä. In addition to earlier mentioned Nacho and Quick Silver puppies Riina and Rex, junior bitch Queen, champion classes best bitch Manta and males Paron Troll, Otto and Morgan. In breeders class we presented Nacho, Manta, Quick Silver and Paron Troll. We had also our young bitch Niputtajan Ritu Rubiini with us.

Today we had new member to our Kennel, Niputtajan Ritu Rubiini. Ritu is our male Erik’s and Olga’s 8 weeks old bitch puppy.

Tammitörmän Paron Troll had celebrated his 1 anniversary by hunting raggoon dog. Tammitörmän Pohjolan Taiga’s owner had succeeded to shot an elg when Taiga was barking it.

It seems that Smirre’s belly is growing so we are expecting her puppies to be born in the beginning of August. Puppies father FIN KVA FIN KVA-M Metsäterrin KU Capu was second best male in main dog show in Jämsä and got cert. (pict). Our male Erik Vom Kalten Grund will be father for Olga’s puppies. In main dog show for German Hunting Terriers our kennel was selected as best breeder and we got price of honor. Our breeders group consisted of Tammitörmän Lady Fox Killer, Mahti, Nacho and Nancy. Also Tammitörmän Manta, Otto, Paron Troll and Peppi
participated dog show. All dogs bred by us got excellent or very good grades.

Tammitörmän Lady Fox Killer sniffed out today wounded white tailed deer. The deer was found about half a kilometer away from the place it was last evening been shut.

We were hunting lynx together with Artjärvi and Myrskylä hunting club. During the day we surrounded 6 lynx. We had one licence and luckily I was the one who succeeded to shut Lynx.

Juha took Emma today to special eye veterinarian. He could not yet examine the eye properly because the blood. He gave more medicine and after a month it will be examined again.

Terrible accident happened today. Our Bitch Emma was kicked by a horse and had severe eye injury. Although she was in pain, she wagged her tail to vets, when they started to examine her. During first night we had to medicate her once per hour.

In Helsinki International Winner 2007 dog show our bitch Pikilän Emma was BOB and had Winner 2007 title. Junior Winner 2007 male and bitch, Tammitörmän Mahti ja Manta, are bred in our kennel. Tammitörmän Lucky Luke, Nacho, Mahti and Manta participated breeder’s class and we got price of honour and were best breeders of German hunting terriers. Congratulations to all and thank you for participating.

Only one of Lady´s puppies is still at home. Two of seven puppies were exported – one to Sweden and other to Estonia. Good luck for all new owners of puppies. Next puppies are planned to be born spring 2008.

We were showing german hunting terriers in Espoo, Finnish kennel club’s training place. Eight judges were trying to get rights to judge german hunting terriers. Not all of them succeeded. See Picture.

Five years old Hipon Rolle got good points in main competition for finnish horses in Ypäjä last week end. He came in 11^th place in total competition. In show jumping he got his best points.

Norwegian elk hound Witsikkalan Harmi was bought today to our kennel. Harmi is three years old and will participate elk hunting this autumn.

Last one of the Emma’s and Erkki’s puppies Olga left today to her new home to Keuruu. Olga seems very promising future cave dog, at least she fought so eagerly with her mummy.

In German hunting terriers’ main dog show/camp in Jämsä Tammitörmän Mahti was best junior and also BOS of the whole dog show. Tammitörmän Kusti and Lady got excellent and Nancy and Nacho very good. In breeders class we received price of honour and were in second place. Iisa and Lady participated child and dog competition and had good prices. We had excellent day. Congratulations to all those who succeeded.

We missed Gamekeeper’s Zatan KI today. He did not convalesce from stomach surgery despite the treatment. The lost was big.

Pikilän Emma has been mate with Erik. Erik Vom Kalten Grund and Tammitörmän Lady Fox Killer were in vegetarian in the beginning of the week and both of them have eyes and knees okay .

Emma’s eyes and knees were checked today and they were okay. Emma has very friendly nature and she behaves calmly. Emma’s heat started on Saturday and she will be mate with Erik.

Tammitörmän Jade did not come out of the cave on Sunday. It was supposed to be easy about 3 m deep cave and one fox in there but after two hours silence Juha and Lassi dug the cave open but it was deeper than they expected. They found one killed fox in there but dog had gone deeper. There were probably more animals in there. We all miss Jade, especially Iisa whose dog Jade was.
